Opalescent Art Glass Perfume Bottle
This little perfume bottle; which still contains a little perfume, is shown on page 192 of the Opalescent Glass 4th Edition by Ewards & Carwile. It is known as the Devilbiss Wide Swirl pattern.
I have seen this bottle with labels affixed for Wisteria perfume sold by Wrisley of Chicago and many sellers list this as a Fenton Opalescent perfume. It is my understanding that this item is not shown in the Fenton Glass Made For Others book, so I hesitate to make that assumption.
What I do know, is that this is a lovely vintage bottle and will make a nice addition to your vanity and perfume collection.
There are no chips, or cracks. The lid has some staining but I managed to get off most, so it will display nicely. The bottle stands about 3 7/8" tall which includes the lid.
