Ahrenfeldt Limoges Classic Pair Demitasse Cup Saucer

This is a lovely pair of Demitasse cups and saucers from Charles Ahrenfledt of Limoges, France.

The cups and saucer's exterior is a creamy yellowish shade that is accented with a burgundy band with gold accents on either side of the band, along the rim and handle of the cup and at the edge and center of the saucer.

The interior of the cup is a slightly off white shade with a fine gold line just below the rim.

Both the cup and the saucer have been enhanced with an embossed or raised braid or basket weave pattern that extends between the band and edge of the piece.

Dimension(s): about 2 1/2" tall. the saucer is 4 7/8" across and the cup is 2 5/8" wide at the top.

Mark: France Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges in a cartouche shape. Kovels dates it from 1859-1969.

Condition: Excellent, No chips, cracks or nicks. No crazing or scratching. Wear on the base of the saucer and cup.
