Two Wonderfully Hand Crafted Vessels
If you love hand turned/thrown American Art Pottery these two vessels will be items that you will want to add to your collection. They were purchased at the same sale but one is marked TARA and the other is initialed ARB. I have not been able to track the potters down, but imagine they were in the same pottery studio as the glaze and clay are identical.
The bowl is 3 6/8" tall x 5 3/8" x 3 1/4" across the base. The tumbler or small cylinder vase is 3 7/8" tall by 3" across. These items are without chips, cracks, or hairlines and have the normal imperfection associated with studio pottery. I think you will love the deep teal color of these items. My pictures make them appear a lighter or brighter teal, but they are a deep teal. If you have any questions or would like additional photographs, please, let us know. rac@glassandpotteryco-op.com.
