A great Cabinet plate!
I have been unable to find out any information on the Brown & Richie Ltd. company. I am guessing that they were possibly in the import/export business. All of the Brown & Richie Ltd. plates that I have been able to locate depict historial themes. The brown transferware-styled decal has the historical Mount Vernon, Virginia estate home of George Washingon depicted. The bordered rim has flowers highlighted in greens, yellows, and pinks. The addition of colors was probably intended to give this plate a polychrome appearance.

This would make a lovely cabinet or wall plate and it would coordinate well with other transferware patterns and collection.

It is 10 inches across and weighs 1.4 pounds prior to packaing for shipping. I detect normal usage marks to the center well and sides, but there are no chips, cracks, or other flaws.
