Willow Oak was originally called Bryce’s Wreath when introduced by Bryce Bros. circa 1880. This is the 6 1/2” covered compote. With the cover it is 10 1/2” approx and without the cover 6 3/4”. The glass is clear and it stands nice and straight. The molding is strong. It has been used and acquired proof of that by way of a chip on the rim of base, 2 on the cover visible in the pictures and one on the mold seam of the finial.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
