EAPG scenic goblet
The Cape Cod pattern has been attributed to the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. circa 1870. It is 5 3/8" tall and hold about 6 ounces. There is about an 1/8" scratch very near the rim and at the proper angle it looks like a nibble but is not, the rim is smooth. There are some dings on the foot which I have not been successful in picturing well please look at the photos. The scenery in the medallions is on the faint side. I do not know if this is the way the goblets were all made or if the mold was beginning to wear.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
