Davidson Lords and Ladies Primrose Opalescent Open Salt English
This salt is by the English company Davidson, which made a series of glass open salts, named in the 20th century by the American pattern glass expert William Heacock. He called this pattern Lords and Ladies, and is it not a plentiful as some other popular patterns like William and Mary, Chippendale, or Lady Diana.

This salt is a medium sized piece, 2 3/8" across, 1 1/8" tall. It is beautifully opalescent at the rim and about half way down the bowl where the glass becomes clear yellow. The glass floresces under black light. Davidson called this yellow vaseline glass Primrose, a yellow English rose. Condition is excellent, a few tiny mibble on the flat polished foot which has a multi-rayed sat cut into it.
