Distinctive Hand Painted Porcelain Humidor Tobacco Jar

This piece is exquisite enough to earn a spot in your living room - the one usually reserved for vases and art!

The jar is porcelain, with a Caribbean blue background and 4 hand painted panels. Each panel has a different scene of birds in winter. The "snow" is raised enamel and gives each scene depth. The lid is cherry wood.

Dimensions: The jar measures 7" across x 6 7/8" tall.

Marks: The bottom has a backstamp that looks like "Forlread." We could find nothing on the manufacturer so please email us if you're familiar with it. One of the panels is signed by the artist, "Doris." (Doris does nice work!)

Condition: Aside from two teensie nibbles on the inside rim of the jar (from the lid going on and off, we found no chips, cracks, or other damage.
