Duncan Glass made this covered butter 1899 and the pattern was continued by Duncan and Miller in 1901. The plate is 8" in diameter and it is 6" high. The overall appearance is of little or no use. The only thing I see or feel is on the raised plate ring that the cover sits over to be held in place. There is a chip flake on the outside edge about 1/8' long at the top flaring out to 1/4" with a rounded bottom. It is about 3/16" up and down.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.

I ship on Wed, Thurs. and Fri. but need at least 36 hours after receipt of payment to get your purchase properly packed. Sometimes I am quicker but can not promise it as a blanket policy.
