According to her studio bio, "Liz Lescault is a clay artist with over twenty-five years of professional experience. Her studio is located in Cheverly, Maryland where she creates her one of a kind vessel forms, ceramic sculpture and wall art. Her present work is distinguished by extraordinarily beautiful glaze surfaces, among which are the complex reds, oranges, greens and earth tones. Applying as many as twenty glaze layers and firing the pieces multiple times achieves the depth and variation of color allowing the viewer to look through multiple veils of transparent glaze into a mirrored surface of liquid color."
Dimensions: Vase measures 5 1/4" high x 7 1/2" in diameter.
Marks/Dates: Signed by the artist on the glazed clay bottom.
