Empire Porcelaine #2282 white and gold condiment server

This 5 1/2" white with gold condiment server is marked Empire Porcelaine #2282. My wife thinks it looks like a child's toy tureen.There is a little loss of gold on one side. I do not see or feel any dings etc.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
