German Porcelain Sweetmeats Cake Plate Gold Violets Pearl Lustre

Description:
This gorgeous handled plate features a cluster of violets on an opalescent pearl luster background. The handles and rim are decorated in shiny gold. I believe the florals are silk screened with some hand painted details. It is vintage German porcelain, likely circa 1900-1920 and the maker is unknown. It measures 7 1/2 inches wide including the handles and is 1 1/2 inches deep. This could be a plate or a shallow bowl but is definitely a lovely serving piece for those special occasions with friends or family.

CONDITION:
No chips, cracks or crazing can be found. The decorations are vibrant.
