Hobbs started making the #323 Dew Drop line in 1886. The popularity of the hobnail pattern must have been goon as there are 19 different colors or treatments reported. This is the sapphire blue sugar missing its cover. It is 3 1/2"{ tall and 4 1/2" wide. I find one fully encased air bubble and some stress lines caused by the crimping of the rim. I do not see or feel any dings.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
