This is Hobbs, Brockunier & Co #327 Quarter Block with Stars tumbler circa 1889. It has yellow/amber stain at the rim and is frosted on the rest. This is the Frances decoration. This is shown in Bredehoft's tumbler book 1st Ed. page 30. There are 2 shallow spots on the base rim from the manufacture . They are frosted like the rest of the tumbler. There is on area where the stain has worn away. I do not see or feel anything else.It is 3 7/8" tall and holds a nominal 9oz.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
