Homer Laughlin Souvenir Plate hawks Nest West Virginia

Here for your consideration is a Homer Laughlin Souvenir Plate from 1954. It features a scene from the New River Canyon at Hawks Nest State Park in West Virginia. The design includes a panoramic view of the river, a Cardinal, the West Virginia State Bird, The West Virginia state flag and other West Virginia Symbols.

It measures 10" in diameter. The border is a deep maroon or burgundy with gold accents.

The plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. There is some wear to the back and there are a couple of places where the paint and lettering have worn a little but I would say the design is 98% intact.
