There has been speculation by some authors that this pattern was made by Portland Glass Co however, no good proof of that has been found. At 5 1/4" tall and with a heavy rim I am guessing that this is a spooner but have not seen any catalog pages to confirm that.The glass has 3 enclosed bubbles NO breaks in the surface. One is in the rim, one between 2 of the horse heads and one in the foot. I find the expected shelf wear. I do not see or feel any dings etc. All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
