Hull CRESCENT Divided Covered Casserole Pink & Black

This versatile, vintage casserole is divided inside to serve two different side dishes. The color is a deep rose pink that shades to black, attractive enough to put right on the table! Yet it's oven proof so you can cook with it, as well.

Dimensions: Measures 11 1/2" from handle to handle.

Marks/Dates: c. mid to late 1950's. Impressed on the bottom, "Oven-Proof No. 35 - Hull USA." Shown on page 111 of Brenda Roberts' The Collector's Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery.

Condition: The casserole itself does not look as if it has ever been used. No chips, cracks or crazing. The matching lid has just a tiny nick on the inside unglazed rim underside (see photo). It is in amazing condition for its age.
