This opaque black glass, octagonal sandwich server or lunch tray has a heart-shaped center handle, with a sterling silver wild rose design that repeats around the border. This is Imperial Glass' Molly #725 pattern.

Dimensions: It measures 12" in diameter.

Marks/Dates: c. 1930's - 1940's. Silver overlay has "Sterling" worked into the design.

Condition: No chips, cracks or other damage. The silver overlay is crisp and consistent, and has been lightly polished.

Vintage glass may show characteristics of age, including allowable base wear, bubbles, pattern irregularities, straw marks (inclusions/cooling marks) or mold marks. And while free of cracks, chips and excessive wear (unless specified above), pieces may show signs of gentle use, including light utensil marks and color variations.
