Imperial Glass #670 ROBIN Marigold Carnival Mug

This bold pattern features a robin on a branch that repeats around the outside. The mug has a banded top and base, with a multi-point handle.

Dimensions: Mug measures 3 1/2" high

Marks/Dates: c. 1926. Shown in Edwards & Carwile's Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass. The mug was re-issued in the 1950's, but the re-issues were marked with the "IG" on the bottom. This is not marked.

Condition: There is a small nick in the side of the mug's handle, and a fleabite on the rim that under close examination looks as though it might have been a bubble in the glass that burst.

Vintage glass may show characteristics of age, including allowable base wear, bubbles, pattern irregularities, straw marks (inclusions/cooling marks) or mold marks. And while free of cracks, chips and excessive wear (unless specified above), pieces may show signs of gentle use, including light utensil marks and color variations.
