This pattern had its origins in the "Madrid" pattern by Federal Glass (1930's). Indiana Glass Co. purchased the moulds and began producing a "Madrid-looking" pattern they call Recollection, in 1976. Now, 30 years later, Recollection has become a collectible pattern in its own right.
This is the pedestal, covered candy dish in "Madonna Blue." It is a marriage of the candle holder and round butter dish moulds.
