This pattern has had a bunch of names. As far as I can tell it was first made by Jones Cavitt & Co later by Bryce Bros and then possibly by U S Glass. It is possible that U S Glass was only selling off the remainders. It has also been called Mikado Fan and in Canada is known as Cross. The pattern is shown in ads in Kamm book 5 plate 24 and Heacock Book 5 U S Glass page 80 plate D. When this was made there appears to have been a poor mating of the mold and plunger for the outside rim as the appears to be a thin fin of glass on the edge This fin has some nick in each of the 3 bowls as you would expect. There are some feel able rough spots on the inside of the rim edge. Buy all three and get a 15% discount. If you are doing this pleas contact me for appropriate invoicing. I have 3 left.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
