This vintage California pottery, TV lamp and planter features a mallard duck taking off from marsh grass, which is a moat-like planter around the front of the duck.

Dimensions: Planter is 14" long. Duck stands 13 1/2" at his tallest point x 8" deep.

Marks/Dates: 1954-1958. Base is impressed, "Lane & Co. Van Nuys, Calif., U.S.A." along with the style number "341."

Condition: Lamp is in good working order. No cracks or chips. The moat planter has been used and though it is clean and shiny, there is residual florist clay in spots on the inside bottom.
