Lefton Porcelain Girl with Ponytail and Mandolin

Lefton Porcelain Girl with Ponytail and Mandolin
This is an earlier Lefton figurine that probably dates to the late 50's, early to mid 60's.

It is a little blonde haired girl in a lovely aqua dress that is trimmed in pink and white daisies. Her hair is pulled back into a ponytail and is topped with a perky gold bow. She holds a mandolin in her arms and is ready to strum a song.

She is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and no repairs. The paint is in very good condition with the exception of a little wear on the gold trim on the mandolin and at the neck of her dress. Wear can also be seen on the gold bow in her hair.

She measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and is marked on the bottom with the numbers 5861. Also on the bottom can be found the red and gold Lefton label identifying she was made in Japan.
