LE Smith Fayette Glass Bittersweet Opaque 20" Vase MWT

This statuesque floor vase has a footed base and a swung rim in the "Simplicity" pattern. According to Tom Felt's L.E. Smith Glass: The First 100 Years, Fayette Glass was a label used by L.E. Smith in the 1960's and 1970's. "Bittersweet" - an orange slag-like, opaque color, was unique to L.E. Smith.
Dimensions: Measures 20" high on a 4" diameter base.
Marks/Dates: 1962-1968. "Hand Made Fayette Glass" foil label on the inside.
Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage. There is a mold mark near the seam on the base.
