McCoy Sesquicentennial Blue Oil Jar RARE Ltd Ed Signed

This dark blue oil jar was issued in limited production, to celebrate McCoy Pottery's Sesquicentennial (5oth) Anniversary. It is numbered, and signed on the bottom by both Nelson McCoy and Billie McCoy. The handled oil jar is a deep, cobalt blue with gold lettering on the front.

According to Dewayne Imsand, VP of the McCoy Pottery Collectors Society, "These pieces were designed by Nelson and Billie McCoy and were made under contract to them. They were not made in the Nelson McCoy Pottery. I believe that they were made by the Buckeye Pottery, which has since also closed. These pieces have not been reproduced, so I believe that the signatures are legitimate."

Dimensions: Handled jar stands 7" tall.

Marks/Dates: Embossed "McCoy Collection 1997 N/B" on the bottom center, and around the rim it is hand signed by Nelson and Billie McCoy, along with the number "3198."

Condition: Excellent. No cracks, chips or other damage.
