The Perfect Display for Your Summer Flowers!

I had never seen the silver decoration on McCoy prior to finding this set. To confirm that it was McCoy, I sent pictures off of the pitcher to the McCoy Pottery Collector's Society, and it was confirmed (Thank you!) that this was indeed a McCoy production item and was part of the Gold & Silver line that was marketed in the early 1970s. Actually, I found the little bowl later and decided they went together. The underside of the bowl has shades of the orange type glaze peeking through the silver.

The pitcher has been used for floral arrangements and will need a good soaking. I did give it a soft cleaning but nothing intensive as I was concerned that I might dull or otherwise harm the Silver glaze. Doesn't this remind you of the Sunburst or Weeping-Bright-Gold decorations that you see from the same time frame?

I think this would be an elegant little vanity set. I believe the Silver Drip really "Pops" in person. It would really be a stunny display with your favorite summer arrangement of flowers!

The pitcher measures: 5" tall, and is 3 5/8" across (not including the handle) x 2 1/2". The bowl is marked USA under the Silver Glaze. The bowl is 6 1/2" across x 1 1/2" deep and I detect no markings.

There are no chips, cracks, or hairlines.
