This delightful carafe was made by McKee & Brothers about 1899. It is pictured as item #631 page 155 in Ferson”s “Yesterday’s Milk Glass Today”. Overall it is 9 1/2” high and 6” wide. The forget me not flowers are in excellent shape as shown by the photos. There is some wear but much less than normally seen at 109 years. The gold has more wear as shown in the photos. I can not find, see or feel any dings etc Please look at all the photos as they show all sides of the carafe.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
