Art Deco Beauty!

For your pleasure, we have an Art Deco-styled two-light candlestick by McKee Glass Company. This items dates to 1957-1959. The mold for this design was originally a Slick Glass Company mold. They produced this candlestick in crystal during the 1940s. Once McKee purchased the mold they did a little revision to the base and produced the candlestick in milk glass. My reference for this information is The Glass Candlestick Book Vol. 3 by Tom Felt & Elaine & Rich Stoer.

I love the deco styling of this candlestick and believe that it will make a lovely addition to your milk glass collection.

I detect no chips, cracks, or hairlines. There is a little roughness along the interior (underside) rim mold mark, which I believe is a normal manufacture flaw. There is certainly nothing that will detract from the display quality or integrity of this great piece of McKee milk glass.

The candlestick is 4 1/8" high and the base is 3 5/8" x 6 5/8" oval.
