Here for your consideration is a covered butter dish in the Cherries and Thumbprint pattern. This piece is in Vaseline Opalescent and was made by the Mosser Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio. It is a new piece, a reproduction designed to look like turn of the century Vaseline EAPG.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. There is no damage or wear and there are no repairs. It comes new, directly from the Mosser facility.

It measures 7 3/4" in diameter at the base and is approximately 6 3/4" tall. The opalescence on the base is even and blends nicely across the entire piece from side to side. The opalescence can only be found on the finial or handle of the top. The top has a visible Vaseline "green" glow to it.
