Noritake Avon Gravy Boat with Attached Underplate

Here for your consideration is a lovely Gravy Boat or Dish with the attached underplate from Noritake. The pattern is Avon and it was only produced between 1954 - 1959. The line is # 5531.

The decoration consists of a Creamy white base with a cream band and a gold flower. The decoration is visible on both sides of the gravy,

It measures 2 1/2" tall and 8 3/4" long. It is in excellent condition with no damage: no chips, cracks or nicks. There is some wear to the gold along the edge as can be seen in the photos. There is no scratching on the inside of the bowl and only very minimal wear to the bottom.
