This is a hand painted Noritake cup and saucer, It is marked Nippon. This mark dates to around 1916, but I believe this cup and saucer date to before 1912. It is made of a very thin, fine porcelain and is decorated with a floral design and hi-lighted with gold accents and a gold rim.
It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or nicks and no crazing. There is some wear to the gold trim at the edge of the cup but the majority of it is in fine condition. The bottom of the cup is marked Hand painted Nippon with a rising sun in Blue. This mark can be seen in the last photo.
The saucer is not marked. The cup is 1 3/4" tall and 3 1/8" wide. The saucer measures 4 1/2"
