Description:
In this listing I am offering 2 lovely Noritake salad plates from the 1950s. They are adorned with gold, black and silver leaves with a pale pink flower that looks like clover. All on a beautiful white porcelain background. The edges are trimmed in gold. The bottom is stamped with the Noritake N, the pattern number and Japan which dates this piece to the 1950s. Exact pattern name is unknown. They are 7.5 inches and I have 4 salad plates being sold in pairs.
Condition:
Excellent! No chips, cracks, stains or crazing. I don't see any wear to the gold trim but to be safe I'll say it's 95 percent intact! This quality Noritake looks like it was hardly if ever used. You'll find more of this lovely pattern listed by clicking on the Gail's Good Things link below.
