Paden City Lucy Center Handled Server CHS Line 895

This 10 5/8" wide Central Handled Server (CHS) is found in Paden City's Lucy Pattern. Lucy, also called Line #895 was first introduced in 1935. The handle is the same as those used for the Crow's Foot CHS but the plate or server portion is definitely Lucy. It is decorated with a vining leaf and flower cutting that is very simple; the flower resembles a daisy.

It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. There are tiny seed bubbles in the glass and there is a manufacturer's flaw on the stem in the shape of a horseshoe. It does not affect the integrity of the piece and is not particularly noticeable but it is there. There is normal wear to the base.
