Description: For sale is a set of 2 stoneware dinner plates in the popular Yorktowne pattern by Pfaltzgraff. Each one measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter and features a blue floral decoration on a grey background. Production of this pattern started in the late 1960's and continues today. The logo on both includes USA. The floral decoration is hand applied and as you know, no 2 are exactly alike. Some are darker or thinner than others.
Condition: The plates are in very good gently used condition. No black utensil marks or crazing. They do have some rub marks (dull spots) that look as though they may be from stacking. The bottoms have common manufacturing flaws like glaze skips or pops and a couple of small nicks on the dry foot.
