Pilgrim Mini Pitcher Cobalt Blue Square Reed Handle

This is a stunning cobalt blue pitcher made by the Pilgrim Glass Company. Pilgrim is well known for their crackle glass but I believe this little pitcher was produced slightly later than most of the crackle glass.

It measures just 3 7/8" tall by 2 15/16" wide across the base. The handle is clear and it is ridged. Pilgrim began to produce clear handles in the 1960's. The square shape is somewhat unusual and not as commonly found as some of the more familiar crackle glass shapes.

The ridged handle is attached to the body of the pitcher with a claw or shell shape. It is in excellent condition with no damage. There are no chips, cracks or nicks. There is no scratching and minimal wear to the base. The pontil area is rough and it has no marks.
