This is a striking black amethyst glass console bowl. It was made by the U. S. Glass Company in the early 1930s. The wide flat brim has a pressed thorn pattern. The bowl center has an elaborate rose and thorn branch pattern. The pattern is almost identical to US Glass Shaggy Rose pattern. The bowl has three small feet.
Size:It is about 11 inches in diameter and 3 inches high.
Condition:It is glossy black without apparent wear. The underside of the rim has a few fleabites and some mold roughness.
