Elizabeth Lescault Studio Pottery Red Glaze Vase Signed

This exquisite pottery vase was handcrafted by Elizabeth Lescault, of Cheverly, MD. Lescault's works are made with as many as 20 layers of glaze and fired several times, which gives this ovoid shaped vase a glaze so shiny, it looks enameled. The top portion of the vase is a gorgeous shade of red, but toward the base, black is marbled in to give it depth and texture.
Dimensions: Vase measures 3 3/4" high x 5 1/4" in diameter.
Marks/Dates: Hand signed on the bottom, "Lescault."
