The Kalevala Annual Plate series featured various Scandinavian scenes by Raija Uosikkinen. The 1977 plate, entitled "Aino's Fate" has a story on the back:

"As she turned her footsteps homeward, pushing through the alder-bushers, came the aged Vainamoinen, and he saw her in the thicket, finely clad among the herbage."

Dimensions: Measures 8" square.

Marks/Dates: 1977. Second in the series. Stamped on the back.

Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage. No box.
