This is an exquisite Nippon Covered Mustard Bowl from the Morimura Brothers of Japan. It is just full of gold accents and beading. The decoration consists of small hand painted flowers that look like Cherry Blossoms.Flowers are pink and a soft shade of green. The accenting leaves are multiple shades of green that are clearly accented with the black bands that ring the lid and the bowl and saucer.
The saucer is connected. It is in excellent condition with no damage. There are no chips, cracks or nicks. There is no crazing and the wear to the base is minimal. There is a little wear to the gold on the lid handle. There is no spoon.
