This is a lovely, high quality Glass Vase in a dark shade of purple or blue violet. It is the shade that is the dark color, the glass itself is not a deep color, but a lovely translucent purple shade that has been iridized.
It measures about 8" tall by 8" wide, It has an optic look to it with a series of bubbles that expand as they go up the piece. The handles are clear and applied. The pontil area is polished.
It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. There is some minor scratching and some faint shelf wear. I do not know how old it is but I have had it for a while so it is not new.
