This is a wonderful vintage Brush McCoy Nurock yellow ware tankard in the peacock design with a wonderful treacle glaze. This vintage pitcher is just over 8 3/4" tall and 5 1/2" across the top. This tankard does have a few condition issues. It has an old chip at the spout and another out of the bottom rim. There is crazing over the entire piece consistent with pottery of this era. It probably sat on a shelf in a hot kitchen for many years. This is shown on page 53 of the 1999 edition of the McCoy Collector's Encyclopedia.
