Fenton made the #6080 ruby overlay candy dish from 1956-59. As originally Designed the line had a glass cover making it look a lot like a Wave Crest shape. With the glass it is pictured on P 165 of Walk’s “Big Book of Fenton Glass 1940-70” 3rd Ed. This has a metal cover that was originally brass tone but has worn so the underlying metal shows through. It fits like an original. The rim is ground with a “light polish”. There are two fleabites on the inside edge of the rim that could have occurred in the grinding process. I do not see or feel any other dings etc. It is 6” in diameter and 3 1/2” tall. Safely packed for shipping this weighs 3 1/2 pounds.
