Pr Ohio Pottery MALLARD & CATTAILS Wall Pocket Vases

Each of these matching "J" shaped, porcelain wall pocket vases features a hand painted green and brown cattail design on a blue background, with an applied yellow mallard duck in flight. Each has a hole drilled in the back for hanging.

Dimensions: Each vase measures 6 5/8" long x 5 1/2" across at the opening.

Marks/Dates: c. 1948. Back is impressed "Patented 149144." Using Google Patent, we found the patent was issued to the Ohio Porcelain Company, Zanesville, Ohio, also known as O.P. Co.

Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage to either. One wing tip appears more blunt than the others but it is just the way it was finished (under the glaze), and not damage.
