Royal Copley Marine Fall Arangement Chartreuse Planter

This ia a Royal Copley Chartreuse and Brown Marine or Fall Arrangement Planter. It measures 5 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide at the top. It is not marked as much of Royal Copley was identified only with a paper label. This does not have the label but has been verified in Divine and Wolfe's Collectors Guide to Royal Copley Book 2. It can be found on pages 126 and 127.

Both the color and the style are very evocative of the 50's which is probably when this planter was produced. It would fit right in with Mid Century Mode decor.

This piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. There are no repairs but there is some crazing on both the inside and the exterior of the piece. It doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the piece and is not particularly visible unless you are looking at it quite closely. Most of it seems to be below the surface glaze.
