Satin Glass Vanity Jar Green Mother of Pearl MOP Style Lid

Here for your consideration a frosted white Vanity Powder or Puff jar with a stylized green Mother of Pearl (MOP) lid. The jar is divided into 9 paneled sections.

The lid is a modified square with scalloping at the corners. The color of the lid top is a soft willow or sage green. The interior is a butterscotch or caramel color. It is marked with a diamond and the letters NTS inside of the diamond. Below it is the word trademark. The jar is not marked.

This jar measures 2 1/4" tall by 3 3/8" wide at the base and 3 1/2" wide at the mouth. The top measures 3 3/4" across. The lid is in very good condition with only a couple of very minor scratches on the top.

The jar is also in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or nicks. There are a couple of visible scratched on the bottom. There is a seed bubble toward the bottom on one side.

The lid has all the appearances of Bakelite but I do not believe that it is..
