Schumann Bavaria Pink Bowl Pierced Edge Women

This lovely porcelain bowl made by Carl Schumann in Bavaria Germany might be considered a portrait bowl as it features 3 women dressed in classical Roman or Greek period clothing.

The bowl measures 7 1/2" across at the top and stands about 2" tall. The exterior is white the interior a soft light pink. The reticulated or pierced area is white as is the bottom of the bowl I believe the decoration is a transfer and not hand painted.

It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or nicks. There are no flea bites and the wear to the base is within normal range. There is some loss to the paint or decal area, primarily in the hair and along the dress edges. There is no major scratching.

The back is marked Schumann Bavaria with the Rampant Lion crest. This mark dates as early as 1918 so I am not sure of the age of this bowl.
