Lovely Japanese Porcelain Covered Vanity Box
This lovely little vanity box by Shibata is off white or cream with gold gilt around the rim of the lid. The lid is decorated in an abundance of chrysanthemums and other flowers. The side of the box is decorated in a rust colored design.

This little box is 3 1/2" x 1 5/8" without the lid and is about 3 7/8" with the lid.

If you are looking for a nice vintage vanity box with an oriental flair, this is surely the box for you! There are no chips, cracks, or hairlines. I detect no staining. It is in nice condition and will be lovely on your vanity.
