This beautiful covered candy dish or compote has a floral design which is frosted with silver overlay. I believe the flowers could possibly be peonies. I couldn't pin this compote down to a maker but my guess is that the overlay was done by Silvery City. The piece measures approx. 7" to top of knob on lid x 4 1/2" across. There is a tiny bubble in the foot. No nicks, chips or cracks. the silver is in excellent condition. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for looking!!
