This elegant Stangl Bluebird will make a lovely addition to any collection of Stangl Birds, Blue Birds or just bring enjoyment as a decorative piece.
Stangl started to produce these birds in the 1940's and continued until 1955. This blue bird measures approx. 5 1/2 inches high by 4 1/2 inches across.
It is in very good to excellent condition and is free from any damage. There are no chips, cracks or nicks. There is a tiny bit of wear to the black paint on the tip of the Bluebird's beak but other than normal soil and wear at the base I find nothing that affects the condition of this piece.
The bottom is marked "Stangl Pottery Birds" in black along with the number 3276S. The artist's initials are I H F. believe.
