New Jersey pattern by United States Glass Co is one of the states patterns they made for all of the states in existence in 1900. Plates are not an often seen shape in any of the states patterns. This is the 10 1/2" fruit plate. It is 2 1/8" high at the rim. As these were made by flattening a bowl the dimensions are not uniform from plate to plate. I do not see or feel any dings on this plate. There are no utensil scratches often seen on plates.
All of my items are used and will show some signs of our ancestor’s normal use. This is not damage like a chip or a crack. If use marks, in my opinion, are unusually noticeable I will comment on it.
